Hema

Hema is a gentle and sweet-natured girl Her life has been marked by deep challenges at a young age. Her father abandoned the family and remarried, leaving Hema and her brother without his support. Her mother, overwhelmed by life’s difficulties, became mentally unwell. Their elderly grandfather, though loving, was unable to provide for their basic needs.

With a heavy heart but great hope, their grandfather brought Hema and her elder brother, Poovarasan, to our home, trusting that they would receive the care, protection, and opportunity they deserve.

Despite her difficult past, Hema continues to shine with joy and innocence. She loves playing with her friends and enjoys being part of her peer group. She is also doing well in her studies and shows a bright eagerness to learn.

Spiritually, Hema has a tender heart. She delights in listening to Bible stories, and her favourite is the story of Jonah and the great fish—a story that reflects God’s mercy and faithfulness, which is now becoming real in her own life. Hema is growing in a safe and loving environment. We humbly invite you to partner with us in transforming Hema’s life.
