Jencia

Jencia is a sweet little girl who carries a beautiful smile that can brighten anyone’s day. Behind that smile, however, is a story of hardship that no child should have to face.

A tragic accident changed her family’s life forever. Her father became physically paralyzed, leaving him unable to work or care for his family. From that moment, the entire burden of the family fell on Jencia’s mother.

Her mother is a poor and illiterate woman who works as a daily wage labourer, struggling every day to care for her disabled husband and her two young daughters. Because work is not always available, there are times when earning enough money even for food becomes very difficult.

With a heavy heart but with hope for a better future for her daughter, Jencia’s mother approached us and asked if we could admit Jencia into our Champion Home so she could continue her education and grow in a safe and loving environment.

Today, Jencia is happy to be part of our Champion Home family. She enjoys being with other children, learning new things, and receiving the care and encouragement every child deserves.

Jencia loves drawing, and her dream is to become a nurse one day so that she can help people who are suffering and in need of care.

Her favourite Bible chapter is Psalms 1, which reminds us that those who trust in the Lord will flourish like a tree planted by streams of water.
